Wow! It sure shows like 1084.
A quick question if I may, I've been out of the knife making game for about 4 years now. Is 1084 still on the no longer made list? It was drying up right about the time I was moving onto other things.
Here are a couple of mine in 1084. The top one is etched and the bottom one is just sanded down to 800 grit, IIRC. Both have Cocobolo scales.
And, of course, the gun is a USP 45 full size. Sorry about the crappy pics. Photography is not one of my strengths.
Okay, here are a couple from a local maker named Roger Bil. They are both in 440-C. The top one has a 6" blade and red Dymondwood scales. The bottom one has a ~5" blade, Elm Burl scales (I think) and mosaic pins. Both have tapered tangs.
1084 can still be found , some one on BF just bought a bunch and is cutting it up to sell to other makers. Alpha Knife supply carries 1080+ which is supposed to be just as good.
