holster advice

I have been looking for a tuckable holster (galco, crossbreed). Is there something that particular I should be looking for in a tuckable? I guess I should probably ask it this way, If you were looking for a tuckable yourself, what features would you be looking for?

This will be for a Keltec P40 by the way.

Here is my opinion on picking out a tuckable. I must have either Kydex belt clips or leather, I will not use metal. Its a good way to tear up a good gunbelt and not only that scratch your car, or anything else you accidentally bump into with it. My opinion and I'm sure it will get some other opinions about that.

I've got a Desantis Super Tuck for my LCP that works very well. I don't know what the belt clip is made of, Kydex or plastic (or is Kydex a fancy name for a type of plastic?)

Did you teach yourself? I have been looking around here for someone who does leather work and other than the belt guy there is no-one. How hard was it to learn, and where did you get your leather? Any tips?

I messed around with leather back when I was in high school years ago, but started messing with holsters and belts and that sort of thing a few years ago. A whole lot of trial and error. If you want watch someone make a holster from beginning to end and do it the right way there is a fellow that has started making videos that you can rent on his website and watch, you go to www.adamsleatherworks.com and he has some tutorials.
Also check out www.leatherworker.net that is a website where everyone pretty much checks their egos at the door and they really try and answer any questions relating to leatherwork.
