Hey Gang!

My apologies for the long absence on this awesome forum, but I've been busy with work and buying guns and teaching classes, etc. :)

My newest purchase is the tried-and-true Ruger GP100 (stainless, 6") and I am looking for a high-quality holster for it with capacity for 2-3 speed loaders, too. I've done a search online and can't find exactly what I'm looking for (maybe I'm not looking in the right places). Are there are any stock holsters and belts that fit my requirements or do I need to go to a custom shop?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Sorry for the hastily typed original post. I will try to clarify here. Of course, the belt and holster are separate (as are the speed loader pouches), but what I was attempting to decribe was a leather rig that had some nice detail to it and came from the same manufacturer so that the holster matched the belt which matched the pouches, etc.

I looked at Galco and Bianchi and they have very nice matching leather holsters and belts, but I couldn't find matching speed loader pouches.

The purpose of the rig is field carry (access to a 100 acre farm in southern North Carolina) but also to have a nice looking rig for general wear. Everything else I have is tactical black nylon for my other semi's and revolvers, so I wanted to go a little more upscale with the GP100 for field carry on the farm.

I think I will have to go to a custom leathersmith to get the complete package, but that will be $$$$. The belts I've seen are configured mostly for single cartridges bandolier style, not speed loader pouches. Of course, I can get the pouches separately for snapping onto the belt, but I would like for them to match.

Ultimately, I would like to pass this down to my sons after I'm gone, so I might as well spring for a leathersmith to do the custom work and personalize it a bit.

As an owner of many plastic paddle holsters and tactical gear, you can see that I'm fairly ill-informed of quality leather goods. Any help you can provide (even names of leathersmiths who are also members of this forum) would be greatly appreciated...thanks!

I just clicked on the Galco link JTQ provided and found a lot more than what other vendors were offering from Galco. The belt and holster are a bit plain, but that's okay, and it looks like the tan speed loader pouches will match. This just might work! Thanks, guys!

Now that I have a better understanding of what you are looking for, here are a few more options.

El Paso Saddlery http://www.epsaddlery.com

Simply Rugged http://www.simplyrugged.com

Lobo Gun Leather http://www.lobogunleather.com

Tucker Gun Leather http://www.tuckergunleather.com

All are custom makers. El Paso Saddlery is a little more "production" than the others. I believe Simply Rugged and Lobo are small shops, possibly one man operations. Tucker has some really fancy stuff if that's what you're looking for.

EDIT to add: I see you are in North Carolina. You may want to check Wild Bill's Concealment if you want to keep your money in state.
