Holster for concealing a Colt Trooper with 4" barrel.

Yeah, but not well . . .

I bought one for a Sig 229 and used it for a while. I'd describe the leather as flimsy, at best.


What's your budget?
 
I've used holsters from Ray's: http://www.shado.com/Concealed-Holsters/View-all-products.html and put one of the Sable models through more than a year straight of competition and practice with a 4" N-frame. VERY tough, well-made, rigid holster ... for $35! That's not exactly the same scabbard style as the Black Widow, but they sell some that are, and I'd trust the quality and rigidity to be similar, and the price is better than right!
 
With a top heavy gun you might want to put the holster between the pant and belt. With that style of holster the leather is a little flimsy so run the belt over the holster and it will hold the gun nice and tight to the body. I use that type of holster and like them a lot.
