I'm looking for a holster for a Walter P22. Doesn't seem like there are many options out there.

Ideally I'l like a nylon IWB, but I'd really just like to get some different options.

If anyone has a P22 holster that they are happy with, I'd appreciate you letting me know.

Thanks

I carry a Walther P22 when I'm jogging. It goes in a cheap Uncle Mike's IWB holster that came with the gun. I like it ok, its comfoftable and it holds the gun securely. When it wears out I'll buy another one in a size smaller.

Howdy M4shooter, and et al.,

Just FYI, I found that my P22 fits rather nicely in the kydex Uncle Mikes holsters for the glock 26. I was goofing about in my garage and happened to notice the similarities in the trigger guard and decided to give it a try with success.

I know this is not an IWB holster but it does present some additional options to consider. Best of luck in your search.

Cheers!

^^^ there's a specific fobus for the p22, fwiw. i trained my fiance with a p22 and a fobus when she was getting ready for ipsc, now she shoots an sp-01.

as far as IWB, i bought a cheapo uncle mike's for it so that we can throw it in the glovebox as a BUG.

if you're going to protect yourself with it, make sure you use quality ammo from CCI like their stingers. makes a nice flower-shaped ring of fire too out the muzzle.

kcshooter, you didn't really answer the question. But I guess you wanted to comment anyway. Anyways, I can think of numerous reasons why my girlfriend won't be carrying a higher caliber handgun right now.

Thanks for the advice everyone else.

lol @ internet.

for some people, a 22lr can make perfect sense. but there's another thread for that.

by the way, if there's a gun show near you, you may want to check them out. don hume is usually really well represented at the gun shows here in georgia, and they make some quality holsters. perhaps a holster made for another pistol can be a close fit and offer greater comfort. try to stay away from the $5 nylon type holsters with velcro though, they're junk even though gun show people try to sell them as the greatest thing since sliced bread. gotta stick to leather or some kind of uncle mike's type material that's soft and flexible.

Maybe they could make a holster of zinc cr@pmetal so the slide would feel at home. :D

I was going

I was going to post a picture of a trash can and suggest that would be a good holster for it but decided that wouldn't be contributing much.

Protech
Fobus
Don Hume

That's all I can find.
