I am looking for good quality leather holsters for my S&W 4516. Preferably 1 IWB and 1 belt holster.

PROBLEM: the 4516 is out of production and is not on the charts of most holster manfactures. The 457 and the 4513tsw are the same size and shape but not many holsters for those either.

I dont want to spend a fortune to have them custom made. Any recomendations?

Well ... define a fortune. There are dozens of custom makers whose wares are in the $75-$90 range. Just to name a couple off the top of my head, UBG and High Noon show their products as being available for the 4516. I don't have any of HN's custom work, but am tickled to death with my UBG Canute IWB (which was only $60). There is still the wait time to deal with, but even then, UBG only took about five weeks.

wish you were a lefty

I have an Alessi I've been trying to get rid of, but it's a lefty.

Hey thanks. Highnoon has some pretty good stuff. That is one I didnt find in all my google searches. They have some nice tuckables too as I always wear tucked in T-shirts. But any way keep the suggestions coming I want to make a wise purchase that is going to last several years.

For IWB, be sure to check out www.concealco.com. Andy makes the most comfortable IWB rig I've tried. His IWB holsters don't use a typical reinforced mouth, but still retain their shape post-draw for easy one-handed reholstering. They're really thin, which helps with concealability, as well. He has the S&W 45 series listed on the site, and they sell for $58 + s/h.
