Having a tough time finding holsters specifically for the newish Taurus 856UL snubbie. Very few of the major holster makers feature the model in their drop down list when you “shop by gun”.

Anybody know of another revolver with identical (or very similar) profile and dimensions that can be used for an accurate cross fit? There’s a Galco Combat Master that fits the 856 according to this article, https://www.range365.com/taurus-856-concealed-carry-revolver-review/

But the author didn’t mention what gun it was specifically made for.

I think the cylinder is slightly larger than a J-frame sized pistol, but the J-frame and 856 share very similar dimensions otherwise. Have you considered shopping for a J-frame holster instead?

You might consider an Azula pancake or one of their other offerings. They list the 856 specifically and have a contact number if you want confirmation. I recently bought this holster for my Speed Six and it fits like a glove. For $44, free shipping and quick delivery, I was happy with mine. The Simply Rugged would give you the option of both IWB and OWB with the same holster if you order the IWB straps/holes for $15 extra. Both are very good but the SR is more pricey.

Thanks stonebuster. Just placed an order for that two slot pancake. What I was looking for.

The 856 is too big for any of my j frame holsters and the cylinder catches really hard (during the draw) in a holster designed for the SP101. With that firsthand information, ordering anything not specifically molded for the 856 was pretty much not happening.

If they have one for the 856, get the Azula per above. I have two and am very happy with both.
