I'm bad at math, and an IDPA n00b, but after copying down my scores from my first classifier, I think I ended up with a total of 114 seconds total.

When they list "points down" that's total points down, not seconds down, right? So you take the points down and add them to your stage time and that's your stage total?

Help a n00b here? :)

What division are you shooting? and what gun?

Either way, congrats on making Expert! :) I remember when I made expert in CDP... on stage 3 I had a clean middle target. Had a few points down on the two outside targets, but cleaning one was pretty cool.

SSP with a box stock Glock 19.

I ain't countin on nuthin till the officials get back to me with the real numbers though. :)

Do they ever "mush" the times together for the first stage? I have written down 20.31, 19.86 and 7.60... for 7 strings. I kinda doubt that the 2 to the body and 1 to the head took 20 seconds.

It's possible I suppose. I haven't shot the classifier for a couple of years now, ever since our club made the switch from IDPA to USPSA.

And the answer is....... nowhere near expert!! :) I must have not copied down all the times. Comfortably at the top end of Sharpshooter at 146 something. :)
