Home again, home again, jiggity jig; the meandering of an old six-gun.

In early 1993, I was headed overseas and trying to get my ducks in a row prior to the move. In that process, my reloading setup and several firearms went to a good friend. One of the guns was an older Colt Police Positive Special in .38 Spl. It had seen some hard use (mostly cosmetic) prior to my ownership , but was a good shooter with a smooth and correctly timed action. Well yesterday, I'm visiting my buddy and he hands the leads to the old Pony back to me; what a pal!
So here's a few shots of the old war horse:

Thanks old friend!

Thanks to all for their comments.
My apologies for the thanks coming so late. The thread had kind of slipped my mind; probably would have stayed that way but, I recently secured some different grips for the old pony and thought I would post them. On another note, I had forgotten that there is an importer's stamp on the barrel; a small reminder of service rendered in a foreign land at some point in it's life :)
