Ok looking at shotguns in my near future I think. And its sorta narrowed down to two...mostly on costs alone.
A Remington 870 or a Mossburg 500. Which would I be better off with. Likely not to shoot much skeet as there arent many places I know of to do that here in Nashville. Know of one but dont know and havent been to it ever.
So that in mind, is the extra dollars worth the 870? Or just a flat black mossy with a pistol grip full stocked rear(like the stock and pistol grip better than just pistol grip) with like a 20 inch barrell, heat shield, and 8 round tube.....sounds tempting to me Is the 870 worth the money for a basic home defense shotgun and fun at the range gun. Few slugs though it and a few buck shot though it to keep it working right
