Can I see how it's supposed to be worn? I actually love the design and might take a stab at making one similar.

It is a paddle holster .... the paddle is molded damp and sewed to hold the U shape ....the basket weave provides a rough texture to hold it inside waist band ... both sides of paddle are basket weaved ...

While this was my first holster .... I have been guilty of making knife sheaths before .... just a knife holster...!

Well yeah, no way newbie leatherworker could basket weave so straight. Awesome sheathes too, i really need to practice those.

All I ask is to simply under that I'm new. I'm not good, I consider myself barely okay.

The best advice I ever got was to just keep making holsters. No matter where you're at......you still learn. You should see the first ones I made.....I've improved a bit.....I keep in my little niche of old west stuff....and keep remembering that stitching and edges are what my work is judged on the most. The gun needs to fit right of course........and the rest is just fluff.
