A little project for you colt shooters to fill the long winter days after deer season is over. It is a lead filled pocket wedge hammer and wedge drift that I came up with that is compact and cheap and will not mar your gun.
It is a 3" piece of 1/2" copper pipe and a piece of 1/8"X1/2" brass bar stock .
The copper cap with the slot cut into it is merely a locater to hold the wedge drift in place while filling with lead.
If you can melt lead you can make it.
