I have a 12 ga double muzzleloader made by Pedersoli, also has "Hopkins & Allen New Yersey" engraved on the barrel. Is this a reproduction by Pedersoli or is it really a H&A? Any idea of approximate value? It's never been fired.

If it's marked Pedersoli then it must have been made in Italy by them. They can easily cost $400 used so it could be worth $600 or more depending on its detailing, fit & finish, function and overall condition.
The current price of a brand new Pedersoli standard 12. ga. SXS shotgun is $860 at Cherry's Fine Guns.

And on Gunbroker there's a used early model 10 ga. Pedersoli SXS shotgun with a current bid of $575 and the reserve price still hasn't been met.
Are there any markings inside of a box indicating the year that it was proofed and the approximate year of manufacture?
