I asked for recommendations on a snub .38...

...and acquired a Ruger LCR. Now I'm looking for a good rig.

I like shoulder holsters, other than the hassle of putting it on/off. For a smaller snub like this, I think a horizontal orientation might be better.

I do own a high quality gun belt.

So...any recommendations? I looked a little locally but a couple places I stopped at didn't have anything. Ideally, something that is comfortable to wear and is reasonably easy to put on/off.

Take a look at galco. They make nice shoulder holsters. I carried a glock 19 in a galco classic lite for a few months and it was very comfortable.

Local company to me, So I had the good fortune to go in and feel the product before ordering.

I have the vertical one for my .45 colt Blackhawk, and it's holding up well to daily wear from Wake up, to the moment I un-sling it and lay it on the stack of books next to my bed at night.

The missus wants the Horizontal one for her Sigma. She's not big on carrying a purse, and as someone with a well-stacked hourglass figure, it disappears easily under the side of her bosom.

Though the often-tropical coastal Texas weather means I seldom wear it, I really like my Andrews Monarch, which is presently set up for an SP101. An ingenious strap that runs across the lower mid-back eliminates the need for tie-downs. I do virtually always carry "primary" at 0300, but a horizontal shoulder rig is an excellent way to comfortably carry a second gun in a readily-accessible location while seated, especially when seated in vehicles.
