I'm not new to reloading I load handgun & rifle on a dillion rl550. I just got a used hornady 366 I'm trying to get it figured out. I want to throw 21gn of unique the bushing chart calls for bushing # 435 it only threw 19 gn even after 8 throws then I worked my way down the bushing chart finally after 4 times changing the bushing to #474 which the chart says it suppose throw 25 gn is this normal? Among other things like forgetting to turn the powder drop off or the shot and forgetting to put a wad in. I'm losing my mind !! Lol

Yes, it's normal. The bushing sizes are only suggestions to get you near. Not all powder measures dispense with the same "gusto", and the density of the powder may have changed in the intervening years.

Hope this helps.

yep, same with Lee bushings on my LoadAll,they are never correct as to their accuracy.
You will learn to hate the 366's anti user feature of dump;ing powder and shot when a case is not present. Some people mount them on cookie sheets, etc to help contain the mess.

I get better results with Unique in all my measures/hoppers by putting n at least half a hopper, then knuckle rapping said hopper to settle the powder in.
