hornady bullet feeder use with cast

Hi guys what is your say about the hornady bullet feeder overall is it worth and (i know hornady says no to use with lead bullets) have anyone use it with lead mainly to load 9mm

I don't load 9mm but I have the bullet feeder dies for .45 and .38. I have them rigged up with a Lee tube. They work great with plated and jacketed once you adjust them properly. If you want to use lead in them do a you-tube search for "bullet feeder with lead" or something along that line. There's a fair number of videos that will explain how to modify the collets to use lead. I would recommend buying the die and a spare set of collets since the modified collets supposedly don't hold jacketed bullets properly.

By any chance, does any one know the 9mm & 45 acp collet part number? I've done an internet search & found nothing.
Btw I'm not trying to highjack the thread, I want to modify the spares to work on lead.
