Hornady Custom Grade vs. Lee Pacesetter .308 Dies

I picked up two used but unopened 38/357 Hornaday dies and just set them up last week and like them. Just got a bunch of 38spl & 357mag brass processed. I'll finish them up this week.
My other 38spl/357mag dies are RCBS.

I would get the Hornady dies over the Lee.

Alternatively you can mix and match. For 9mm I use a Hornady resizing die, Lee expander, Lee seater, and Redding taper crimp.

I think everything makes a difference. How much difference they make varies though and might not always be the same, from one set of circumstances to another.

This is likely why people have different opinions of what matters most.
Certainly, especially those that learn how to measure brass and determine for themselves how much sizing that particular die is capable of and at which junction be CSJ, NSJ or at the .200 line.
