Hey folks,
I made a few posts on other threads concerning issues with the Hornady L&L AP. Then I was reading another thread where one of the folks shows pictures of his L&L, and I notice there is a big difference in the primer feed mechanism from the primer feed on mine. When looked at the Hornady PDF manual for the L&L AP, I noticed the sub plate has also been changed quite a bit from when mine was made. It would appear there is a projection on the newer subplates that holds the case feeder.
I bought my L&L when they first came out in 1996 or 1997. Does anyone know if there are other changes besides the sub plate and primer feed mechanism? I would assume the primer feed mechanism made today should be an improvement over what came on mine, but my primer feed mechanism works flawlessly.
