if this has already been posted... sorry. So i have loaded about 2500 rounds on the 'ol LNL and all of a sudden the press started to stick at the bottom of the stroke. It also seems that about the 2500 mark is when it need more grease. And as murphy's law would have it my grease gun was just out. Anyway I played with the thing for 20 minutes before i found out why it was sticking. seems the hex bolt just under the case plate (on the shaft) had come a bit loose. I read a few post saying it could be the shell plate being to tight and it wasn't. Well i hope this helps any one who finds this problem.

Mine was loose out of the box...took me a while to figure it out too!
Before I tightened it up, I was thinking "boy this press sure has a lot of slop in it"

Now if we can get that ejection wire problem solved once and for all! :banghead:

So this thread is a little over two years old but my post to it serves two purposes:

1. The search feature here works pretty doggone good if you're willing to sift through the various threads that it returns for you to find your answer. The ideas I got in this thread reduced my stress level by 66% and increased my LNL press "smoothness" by 66%. :D

2. There are bunch of very knowledgeable folks on here. Whenever I have a reloading or gun related question rest assured I can find an answer or idea here at THR!!:D :D :D
