I just replaced the lock rings on all my Lee dies with Hornady..wow! I am amazed at how well these work, they completely eliminate the need for a quick change bushing system. Makes me glad I went with the Lee classic cast and not the Breech lock. Just wanted to put that out there for anyone that is tired of making die adjustments and doesnt want to put the lnl system in

Preaching to the choir here!

Every set of Lee dies I own has had the o-ring thrown in the trash and the aluminum ring drilled & tapped for a 6x32 set-screw & a lead shot.

Or else replaced by any other brand of locking lock ring.

And I agree the L&L or Breach-lock quick change systems are a total waste of time & money buying bushings sets for every set of dies you own.

How long does it take to screw in a pre-adjusted die with a locked lock-ring that doesn't move every time you touch it!!

I also am a huge fan of the Hornady lock rings. I use them very often. I like the Lee lock rings on my sizing dies that I adjust often, even better than RCBS lock rings. I've put some on RCBS sizing dies, but for all of my seating dies that I don't want to have to adjust every time I use them, I get Hornady lock rings.

The Lee rings work nicely for me for dies that stay in a turret. The dies that are used in my single stage all get Hornady lock rings.

I used to have in my cart, on Amazon or e-bay, the Hornady type lock rings, but from an industrial supply place at a much cheaper price. Anyone know about this?
Can't find it now.
