Hornady One shot

One shot worked just peachy with my 8x57 cases. No problemo.

I also give my pistol cases a light, quickie shot, even though I use carbide dies.

The Lee case lube also works just fine, in my limited experience.

The first sprayer I used was a cheapy that lasted about 30 squirts.

Heh, BTDT. I was thinking about rescuing a spray bottle for my wife's hairspray next time one's empty, since they seem to do fine with a pretty harsh combination of solvents and solids. Plus, it's free, and it's here.

I've probably processed a couple thousand .30-'06 cases with the Hornady One Shot without problems of any kind.

I tried one shot several years ago, it worked good on straight walled cases (pistol, 45-70, etc) but I had lots of stuck cases with bottle necked cases so I dumped the can in the trash and went back to my old method. I do hate to have to break out my stuck case remover. rugerman

Hmmm...i Buy The Hornady One-shot Lube By The Case.

So far this year I have used it with 30-30 brass, 250-3000 brass, 300SAVAGE brass, 356win brass, 38-55 brass, 45-70 brass, 32SPECIAL brass, 30-40KRAG brass, and tens of thousands of pistol brass from 32LONG to 45COLT with a dozen or two stops in between without a single problem. I spray it on, leave it set for 5 minutes while I try and win a solitaire game, and get to sizing. I have never had the slightest of problems with this Hornady case lube but I have found it works even better if you clean all the other lube and crap out of the sizing die and then give the inside of the sizing die a goodly spritz of the ONE-SHOT lube.
I cannot imagine what caused the problems you have had...

I have been reading all of these very interesting posts and will give one more try by combining several suggestions. I really didn't expect so many replies to this. Just one screw up, just one stuck case and out the door with the One shot. Will Terry. Would old guy trying new idea be a good enough excuse???
