Hornady progressive measure setup

Anybody use the Hornady drum type powder measure and progressive kit? I'm pretty sure it is the standard setup with their progressive press.

Does it meter short stick powders such as H4895 and Varget pretty well?

I have the LNL and it meters all short stick extruded powders very well.

Waldog, what sort of precision do you get from your powder measure?

Hornaday just added a new Drum and dispencer to their powder measure for hand guns. I have one but have not tried it yet! I was about $30. I have two Hornaday powder measures and seem to have no problems with them!

That pistol drum and micro powder insertr insert are aweeeeeeeesommmmmmeeee. I have loaded around a 500 rounds of 4.4grs Bulleye and 4.4grs 231 and the last measurement is the same as the first and everyone inbetween, unlike the standard drum and insert I was getting .4 to .5 grs differences between 10 and 20 rounds causing me to double check that often and almost every other load. With the pistol drum and insert, powder cop and visual I might go every 30ish just because it's a safe practice to do so.

I mainly use my Hornady for reloading rifle (specifically 4064 and 4895) because the powder measure handles extruded powders so well.
