Hornady's case feeder for LNL-AP

The only time I have had a problem is with 9mm, 45 works fine. With the smaller base on the 9mm if it does not land square it will bounce to the side and sometime away from the pusher. I have also found if you push the brass lower than the feet the 9mm is less likely to hang on the spring grove. I have a small piece of leather glued to the bottom of the pusher.

That's a good idea, I woundered if the foot was pushing the shell over or if my kinked up spring was doing it. It definately was tripping right at the groove.

I'll watch for that.

Thanks

I really don't know how you can fit that PVC tubing over the drop tube.
My drop tube is touching the casting on my press.

There isn't a lot of clearance between the press frame and the case drop tube. Loosen your mounting bolts for the case feeder support post you can re-position your support beam so that there is enough clearance for the PVC. Remember, it's thin, THIN, PVC probably 1/16" or less thick. Be sure and split it length wise so it sill slip over the drop tube and friction fit. If it's still too thick, cut a section out of the PVC to let it fit. The most problematic cases for "bouncing" are 9mm and 380. Although, If your "cranking" out ammo, larger cases will occasionally bounce. This mod is usueable for ALL HANDGUN AND RIFLE CASES I HAVE TRIED.
