How about a moment of silence for TFL

Bogie is right! The Firing Line has gone inactive, but it is still around. All of its members are still alive and kicking, many kicking about right here! So let's continue to make some noise, remembering what TFL brought about and continuing the fight.

Although TFL is now inactive, the some-odd 17K members have migrated to other sites. I think of it as spreading the wealth of knowledge to others, which may not be a totally bad thing.

I was there when it closed, had my moment of silence then. Kinda disappointed, only a handful were there.

I'll miss TFL but glad to see this one open. I asked a question about ammo on another page. Didn't think it was THAT stupid of a question, but apparently there were "hecklers" according to a moderator and my post was sent to a trash bin and the hecklers' posts removed. I realize I'm new to guns, and I've got a lot to learn, but I always thought the only stupid question was the one not asked. God was I wrong...:uhoh:

I was never treated that bad on TFL.

I was there when the lights went out and the doors were closed. I think of it as a monument now. We are building a monument here. Rich asked us to go out and spread the good news and that is what I will try to do!
