How big is too big for a CCW weapon for you?

Largest I have carried is a USP Tactical.

IWB (a inexpensive galco).

5'11 160 pounds.

With jeans and a loose fitting teeshirt.

Present day I probably wouldn't carry anything larger than my P220ST.

Post photos of you packing this and not from a couple of angles each. Make it a Poll to vote on which set is which. I hear this claim all the time. Would be intresting to see if we "make" you or not. Obviously if you carry SOB and only post a front view photo this will be useless. If nobody could ever get behind me and I never had to sit down I could carry my AK underfolder :)

Probably would work for me most of the year if I lived where it snows. But here, even my Kimber Ultra Carry is too big 9 or 10 months of the year. I usually end up carrying a scandium J-frame .357 or my Kahr PM40. Too often the little P3AT is all I can manage.

Don't put any money on this one. I'm built similarly (about .5" taller and 5lbs heavier) and can pull this off too, as long as the gun is in the right spot (works best at 4 o'clock with a muzzle-rear cant).

The trouble is that it's not terribly comfortable, and the 1911's large grip will print when you move your shoulders if your clothing isn't bulky or loose enough.

I'm 6'4" and weigh anywhere from 210 to 250, right now I'm at about 235. When I lived in a cold climate I usually carried a Sig P220 in a shoulder holster with a jacket or vest for cover. In those areas everyone wore a jacket or vest and the gun was never noticed unless someone came into physical contact with it. Now that I live in the desert I usually pack a Glock 26 in the summer and a Glock 22 in the winter. IWB in the summer with a Tshirt or untucked button up shirt for cover and in a shoulder holster in the winter or if I'm riding my motorcycle. Oh, and a Kel-Tec P32 as backup or for when I absolutely can't be made.

Honestly though, I love that little Glock 26 so much, and I shoot it so well, that it's probably going to be my main carry gun, summer or winter. It's light, easy to conceal in almost any type of holster, small enough to be dropped in the pocket of cargo shorts, reliable, accurate and easy to draw and shoot. Stoked with Gold Dots and 17 round spare magazines I can't think of one good reason to go back to a full size pistol for concealed carry.
