Just to save some PMs for bds, I suggested via PM that he post his "full new shooter training run down" for all to see and he said he would do so and link to it from this thread.

Thanks in advance bds!

Domineaux, our sewer main backed up and we'll be working on that this weekend. I will post the "run down" (it's fairly long) soon.

No problem bds, I don't imagine anyone would be impatient when you are offering to share the results of your own work like so.

(nor would anyone wish a backed up sewer on anyone)

Something else occurs to me here: Some of the high-quality pellet guns that are currently on the market are worthy of consideration. They can be obtained for far less money than their alternate firearm, and the ammo is a heck of alot less expensive, in most cases. Case in point, the Walther CP88, which has the look, feel, and heft of the original, costs around $200 instead of $1,500, and can be fired relatively inexpensively. You also get the added benefit of not having to go to the shooting range every time you get an itch.

Just a thought ... not everyone would agree, which is fine, too.
