How can I tell what model Browning 9mm Hi-Power I have?

Can you tell by the serial #? There is an "M" on the rt side of the trigger guard. There is a "C" on the left side of the trigger guard. The serial # is 245PY18735.

How much is it worth? It is in excellent condition.

Can you tell what year it is by the serial #?

I have a 1944 made Inglis than I am VERY happy with. And, I've owned several FN and Browning HPs over the years. Never sell.

Hello. Yes, letters "P" and "Y" in the serial number indicate that it was made in 1982.

Can you post a picture of the gun?

If not, please describe the sights and the thumb safety on the pistol.
