How did we ever get from: “We the people . . . do ordain and establish this Constitution.”
To: "The Constutution means whatever 5 Justices tell us it means". It's so apparent that the Justices vote with allegiance to their party most of the time. There never seems to be an honest attempt to determine the framers intent.
I used to think the Constitution was a solid concrete document that protected our rights. I don't any more. I have no confidence anymore in our leaders, no, not any of them. I truley feel our system of government has deeply eroded because of the corruption and ego's of every elected official. Worse than this, I see no hope of this situation being corrected. It's really sad. Sad for the young people. I'll be 60 in a couple of weeks. I thank God above that i was able to live my first 40 years in a country that truly was free.....But sad that the little ones in my family will never know that feeling.
