I just bought 2 and an rpk. What can I do? Is there a support group for these kind of things? I don't have any money left to buy another one and I still have a void that needs to be filled somehow. :(

Try some AK reality therapy: spend the better part of $1K on an Arsenal with a canted FSB that barely gets on paper at 50 yards.

That'll help.

I tried the AR cure, but quickly returned to the AK.
AKs and M14s are the best platforms for me.

That sucks. I assume you've tried to get it fixed under warranty already and that didn't work out. If the rifle groups well you can get some extra adjustment room if you install a windage adjustable rear sight. There's at least three available right now and most people will like a better sight picture anyway. Otherwise somebody who has done some builds can probably help you out, I know this is a common problem on low end AK's and from what I've heard it is fixable. I know it stinks to buy a piece of gear you thought would be really good and get stuck with something that doesn't work right. I've got a PK-AS I need to re-shim because it doesn't have enough adjustment to bring the POI down low enough to be on the paper past ten yards. The optics are fine but the factory shim just isn't getting the job done.

tell me what kind of AKs you have and if you would sell and ship them to me. Thats a good and gradual first step to gettinf rid of it ;)

Buy a couple more.

I've got 6 of them in 5 different calibers in my gunsafe right now, but I'm still craving more.

I don't have a Yugo underfolder yet or a 5.45 or a Saiga 100 in .30-06 and someday I'd really like to get a Valmet and a Super Vepr and...

To have pretty much everything desireable,
and yet still long for more...
It could be worse, at least it's not crack!

You could do what deputy said, get into mosin nagants. They're much cheaper so you can collect away without spending too much.

Buy a few. . . I think-

I've bought a Saiga 12 and had it professionally converted. Then bought an RPK clone, and now have a Vepr .223 coming next week.

I might also want to pick up a M92 underfolder or AKSU next month. . .

Can't help you. I don't really suffer from it. I have 2 Lancaster/Arma rifles; A Red headed Romy and a Polish Tantal Sidefolder 5.45mm.

Those are enough for me, though I'll likely get a milled model if Dan (Arma Rilfe) ever starts producing them. And maybe an RPK.

For me, it's the Mil-surp bug. I want one of every variant from each arsenal. That makes it about 40 rifles just to cover the Carcano's:eek:.

The surest cure is to buy the SLR-106 I have for sale. After getting that one, you'll be satisfied. ;)
