I think this:

If a carry permit qualifies as a NICS exception, then they record the permit information on a 4473. Every time a firearm is transferred from an FFL to a non-FFL, a 4473 needs to be filled out. Period.
is incorrect in one case. A FFL03 (Curio & Relic) collector is not required to execute a 4473 when selling a firearm to a non-FFL person. The collector has to record the buyer's name & address in the disposal section of the bound book for the firearm, but no other paperwork is required.

a 4473 also isn't required if you're selling a firearm for official police use, you do however need letterhead from the dept stating that the firearm is for the department.

I myself can take a gun out of my inventory and no need to fill out a 4473..:) I own the FFL personally, NO Corporations here.. so its all mine, hehe

I was referring to dealer or manufacturer FFLs. The 03 is a license to collect, not deal in for a business. 03s are not dealers. This thread refers to dealers, not collectors.

As long as the firearm has been in business inventory for one year. Reference: 478.125a; page 68 in your white book.

Thats only if I want to sell it personally(off the books VIA Private sale)..

The firearm does not need to be in Business inventory for any length of time. But it has to be in PERSONAL inventory for a year or more before I could sell it in a private sale. I can log a gun out to myself without 4473 execution.

Is that what it's referring to? I had to read it again. It's confusing the way it is written. So in order for you to sell it off paper, you'd have to have it in your personal collection for 1yr. Ok, that makes sense. Skimming over it seemed like the gun had to be in your books for one year before a 4473/NICS was exempted.

The FFL is in my LLC's name and according to the ATF, the LLC can own NFA weapons but not Title I weapons. A 4473 cannot be run on a corporation, only a natural person. NFA law is different.
