I’ve been researching bayonets and the OKC3S and Iekhorn NATO bayonets seem to be the best.

The Iekhorn NATO bayonets seem to be about $50 - $75 more, so I figured the OKC3S is probably good enough.

Do any of you own one, what do you think of it, how does it hold an edge?

And also are there any knock offs, or seconds out there?
I’ve seen boxes of terrible Kersha assisted opening knives at gunshows, I don’t know if they were knock offs or factory seconds, but most didn’t even work.
I wouldn’t want to buy a OKC3S off eBay and then end up having the blade just fall off.

Thanks. :)

Might I make a suggestion? I know 2 that are real good but they cost a little. However, either one of them will last you a life time.
"Smoky Mountain Knife Works"
M-9 bayonet-black or green-#Q493--$129.99....
Marine bayonet for M-16 -Black or green=#ON6504--$140.99....
I in particular have found the M-9 to be a good reliable partner. Easy to sharpen and hold's an edge. Both of these are a very tough piece of work. I guess it depend's on what you want it for. BUT I learned a long time ago if it's got Ontario's name on it you won't be going far wrong anyway....

Best for what?

Bayonets are not known for edge holding as that isn't they're primary job.

I know a bayonet is for slashing and jabbing and I don't own the Marine bayonet I spoke of. However my neighbor does and he like's it a lot. He uses it as his primary hunting knife. Must work pretty good. I know the M-9 is a fine piece of work. I do own one of them and have made camp and shelter, cleaned game, (some of the game was, shall we say, rather large?) cleaned fish and used it for this that and the other and it has alway's held up very well....

It would be advantageous if you could perhaps tell us what you want this bayonet/knife for. Useage often determines final choice.
