Took a look at one today. Lightweight, VERY good trigger in both SA and DA, defanged, small enough for good carry, but still feels good in the hand. What is NOT to like about this gun? Seems better than a PPK or maybe even a Mak to me.

Best quality for the money around, hands down.

Tough, reliable, nice looking.

First class customer service, lifetime warranty

What not to like?? Get it, you will be happy.

I trust my life to my Bersa Thunder 40

Yep, i agree with all that.

I had one, but it was my ONLY pistol at the time. So it was just a tad bit too big for me to have on my persons at all time like i would like (i live in FL + small frame), and i wanted a dedicated range gun.

So while the bersa was a great gun, ended up selling it and getting a Kel-tec p3at for CC and a FNP-9 for the range/HD. Best of both worlds.

But yeah, like i said, while i had it.. it was great.

I had one for a while and liked it. Still the 380 left me with nagging doubt about effectiveness f i had to actually shoot someone. I got a Taurus PT145, 9 rounds of 45 in surprising close to the same dimensions feels more comforting whether it is or not.

My wife purchased on for carry yesterday. Good trigger pull, excellent safety features, and an unbeatable price point. We got some targets and took it out yesterday so she could get used to the feel of the gun. She was immediately effective with it, putting 2 center of mass and one in the neck.

I was a little hesitant about having her depend on something that small, but she enjoys shooting it, which will encourage appropriate practicing, and she is effective with it.

Overall, I am pleased with this and would recommend it to anyone looking for an accurate low recoil cartridge for self defense. We have to run more rounds through ours before I am willing to call it 100% reliable, but so far so good. The Bersa .380 is a winner.

The only thing I don't like about them is the built in lock. I have a pre-lock Bersa Thunder .380 that has been excellent. If Bersa offered no-lock versions, I'd buy one.

I have one...for now. The problem I have with it, is that it actually hurts when I shoot it. Seems to hit a nerve in the web of my hand on recoil. I have shot .45, .38, .40, 9mm and .380 out of my makarov and never had the problem repeat itself. Nothing wrong with the pistol itself, though. Just doesn't work for me.

I'm very pleased with mine. I purchased it in January of 2007 and have been carrying it ever since. The only holster I have for it is an Uncle Mike's pocket holster. This works very well for me.

I've previously carried a Glock 26 and a S&W 642 and I still own multiples of each. These Bersas are excellent pistols. Mine has never malfunctioned through two qualifications and other informal shooting. Much easier to hit with than a j frame Smith.

I seriously considered one, until I decided on a S&W Airweight.

Good enough is good enough, but,...... better than that good enough, is better than "just good enough."

That was my best Chrissy Snow.

Thank you, thank you.

I have one but rarely ever carry it but not because I don't like it I just prefer my P229 over it. The only thing I have against it is that it starts to bite the web of my hand after about 3 mags. of slow fire.
