I figure that guns are tools. And to get good results, you take care of your tools, whether they be your guns, cordless drill, car, lawnmower, etc. I admit that I don't take care of my lawnmower as much as I should but I take care of the rest.
Basically I try to keep them clean and lubed. That means that I do this after I buy them and then after every time I go to the range. Not right away usually but within a day or two.
I don't know if I should wipe down the metal after handling all the time. I see the guys do this in the gun store. Any thoughts on wiping down your gun after handling?
