What can I say?

I agree, that many of the questions didn't match very closely.

For example: I believe in de-regulation, but I think a structured gradual approach is necessary for things like utilities that are traditional monopolies. I tend to like Co-ops for these.

Immigration: Pretty much free, but require a background check/interview. Be harsh on illegals.

Free Trade: Free except that sanctions may be imposted on countries that are:
a) extreme human rights violators. (China)
b) excessive polluters (we can argue what constitutes pollution, I don't count carbon dioxide).
c) engaging in predatory compitition (subsidizing a product to put US compititers out of business). Japan has done this one.

I'm soooo Centrist it ain't even funny--52 on non-fiscal, 51 on fiscal.

I like to think of myself as an objective, reasonable person who has the intelligence to be able to see both sides of most issues.
