Dont get a center punch its round, the wrong shape for the job.
Get a very small cold chisel like 1/4" wide and strike a line half on the allen screw and half on the base of the carrier key after you tighten the allen screw down, The purpose is to stop the screw from turning by raising a divot that cuts across both parts.
the -23 method is 3 strikes with a center punch on the perimeter of the hex head
The method of staking will be accomplished as pictured below. Use solid center punch, and hand hammer to stake the two carrier and key screws (2) in three places.
I have seen both methods. As long as the screws were tightened to spec (35 to 40 inch pounds) and they are NEW screws (do not reuse old screws) either way should work.
