So I am trying to order a 1911 threaded barrel with M16 x 1 LH thread, and I was told that I require a bushing-less bull barrel.

Could someone show me a picture of a 1911 with a bushing-less bull barrel installed?

I have a Colt WWI and a Taurus 1911, would a bull barrel work in my pistols?

Thanks!

Here is a picture of one.

I'm not sure whether you can convert a standard to a bull barrel. I'm curious, why would you want to do this? The bull barrel is heavier and is generally used in guns with 3 inch barrels because it has proven more reliable.

oh... because my suppressor has 16 x 1 LH threads that requires bull barrel for 1911... a long story... :)

But Jarvis makes 5' bull barrel with this type of thread though... you think the gun wouldn't cycle properly? Let me know.

Man, I'd love to have a suppressed 1911. I have no idea whether it would cycle properly but I can't think of any reason why a suppressor would adversely affect the cycling of your pistol.

I'd love to see pics when you get it all together.
