How does Simmons ATV Compare with Simmons AETEC

How do these two match up in a head-to-head comparison?

Surely someone here has, at one time, owned a Simmons ATV?

I actually own two of them, but I've never owned at AETEC, so I can't compare. I sure do like my ATV's, though--especially since I got 'em both pretty cheap.

The Aetec has the edge in center to edge distortion, light gathering, overall clarity, flare supression, and colors look more "real."

It isn't a big difference, but noticeable.

Both are heavy scopes, the drawback to the Aetec is you can't get it in a smaller ovjective.
