How does the 357 158g XTP perform at 1000-1100 FPS?

I am looking to carry some 158g Hornady XTP loads in my Ruger KLCR.

I have about 500 of the bullets (I shoot them in my 77/357 and 4.2" SP101) and would like to know the minimum speed these things open up at.

I see Buffalo Bore makes a "Tactical Short Barrel" load with these clocked at 1015 FPS from a 1.875" barrel: https://www.buffalobore.com/index.php?l=product_detail&p=105. I confirmed today that it's a Hornady XTP loaded in this round.

I am getting right at 1100 FPS when I load these over 8.4g of Power Pistol in the KLCR (1.875" Barrel). This is .1g under max.

I can push them up to about 1125 out of the KLCR with a max load of H110, however it's a lot of fire for just 25 more FPS over the Power Pistol load! The H110 load shows it's potential much better out of the SP101 and 77/357.

So my question is: Will the XTP open up at 1100 FPS? Would Buffalo Bore sell a load for Short Barrels that doesn't even work? Any test done on the XTP at these velocities?

I use a lot of XTP and during my redneck expansion test (5gal bucket full of clay and a stack of wet phone books) I've ran them as slow as 800fps and still got excellent expansion.

No 180 grain?

It would be interesting to see where the 180gr .357 bullet falls in this chart. I am running around 1200 fps and have taken several deer with it, but have never recovered a bullet to see how it expanded.
