How is FS reloading doing these days?

As the title asks. I know there were issues in the past with timeliness of shipping. How has ordered recently and what was your experience?
 
To my understanding, it is under new ownership. If I remember right the original owner began to have health issues that effected the operations and finances.

But to your main question, I can't answer. I use to order much through there. But nothing of late.
 
Ive been wandering the same thing. There was a thread about fsreloading back in february that got shut down by a mod for no good reason so I have been hesitant to post "What's going on with FSreloading"

I had an order with them back in january and it was a mess. My package took two weeks to arrive and it was missing nearly half the items. the items were backordered even though they were listed as in stock when I ordered and when I got half my order in the mail.I called and could never get through. I sent an email and a nice guy named greg called me right away. He was saying they were absolutely completely swamped with orders more so than ever before and they could hardly keep anything in stock. That was a lie. There was no panic buying at that time, all other websites had a full range of lee products in stock.

Someone said they changed ownership. Some really weird story about how they owed their web designer(who should have been fired, their website was terrible, archaic and difficult to navigate) an exorbitant amount of money and they struck a deal and the web designer bought the company.

They were my favorite place to order lee stuff from. They lost me as a customer. Im going to titanreloading for my next lee order.
 
I haven't bought rom FS since last year. In the meanwhile, they have changed owners and moved operation from Wisconsin to Utah. Their website is easier to navigate now and their prices seem to be at about the same discount point it was before the change. They claim their new order processing system updates in real time now, to if you successfully enter something in your cart, it will be available to ship.

It looks to me that they are trying to improve things.

I'm willing to give them another chance, when the need arises.

We have received many expressions of concern and sympathy for Greg Ehlenbach who's declining health prevents him from continuing with FS Reloading. I thank you for your concern on his behalf. We will all miss him.

Thanks to assistance above and beyond the call of duty by John Lee and his staff at Lee Precision, and extra effort by our new warehouse staff in Cedar City, Utah, FS Reloading is once again open for business. We are currently shipping to US destinations only. I expect to resume international shipments by July 1, 2016.

For all our international customers, I apologize for the delay but, as they say, Rome wasn't built in a day. I appreciate your patience as we work through this transition.

For our US customers, welcome to the new FS Reloading. We have deployed a new inventory management system that updates stock levels in real-time. This means if an item shows the "Add to Cart" button, you can be assured it is on the shelf in our warehouse ready to ship. Items currently on order with our suppliers show the expected delivery date provided by our suppliers but can't be added to the cart. For out of stock items, I encourage you to click the "Notify me when in stock" link. Our system will sent you an email message when that item becomes available.

That's just 45 minutes up the street from me.

I need to order a couple Lee things... think I'll give them a try.
 
I just placed a small order with them a couple of hours ago. If they come through with it, they'll see a lot more of my business. I kinda like supporting local businesses whenever I can.
 
I have been trying to browse their site for the past 2 days and it's been painfully slow. I gave up several times and tonight gave up for now. To bad too, I wanted to buy a few items but now I will buy elsewhere. I used to like them a lot.

I had that happen on the initial loading of the site, but after that, it loaded pages within the site quickly.
 
Ordered from them right after the move was complete.

Best price on the web for what I ordered including shipping and it arrived in 2 days. Good price, low shipping costs and fast service. I thought they were ready to go.

But they never answered emails. I am on the fence currently.

Just received my order. Shipped the day of order, received next day. Not a big order, just a new .380 powder through expander die to replace one that shaved brass.

I'll definitely be using them in the future.

It is more than a little disconcerting when companies don't answer emails. Good to know the products shipped fast though.
 
Didn't know about the health problems and move. When did the move happen?

Ordered from them a couple of months ago. It was a complete mess. Missing items, wrong items, etc... Might give them another chance if they have turned things around.
