Finally decided to order a 10mm Glock 40 MOS. Been wanting one for years, figured now is the best time to get one.

Before buying I've been grabbing brass at the range in anticipation of the day I would buy one as I always intended to load 10mm for it. Will go up to full power occasionally, but mostly will be doing mid range handloads because the 6 inch barrel will get the velocity I want without needed a ton of pressure.

Only question I have is since Glocks are known for loose chambers if they were improved in the Gen 4 models? I've seen conflicting statements made and I want to know if I'm gonna be getting a lot of smiles on my cases or if my Glock is gonna lose its smile like Shawn Michaels did in 1997.

I may also buy an aftermarket extended barrel with a target chamber in the future, but for now if I can shoot reloads safely in the Glock barrel, I'll be content.

My brothers gives smiles. I told him just buy an aftermarket barrel and be done with it.

I have a Gen3 model 20. I bought an after market barrel when I bought the pistol. It is a Wolf barrel and it eats cast bullets like candy and supports the brass with no bulging. I do a lot of casting and knew I didn't want to mess with the Glock barrel. Just buy an after market traditionally rifled barrel and be done with any related problems.

I would add that I have 2 Glocks and a Kimber. If I were shooting Glocks only or only the Kimber I wouldn't need to do the pass through sizing.
The Kimber's tighter chamber has trouble with brass that has been ran hot through the Glocks.
With pass through sizing, no troubles at all.
