How many carry a plain 1911

Yes it is rough unfortunately but it has been home to parts of my family since 1965 so I won't be leaving anytime soon and it's "my" rough area! Unfortunately 3 years ago or so not 10 doors down from where my grandmother lives, a sheriffs officer was shot and killed. No wonder a 1911 goes under my apron while firing up the grill.

If it's like anything around here, give it another 10-15 years, and it will be the "Up and coming place" for all the YUPPIES to move into. Hate to hear your area went the way it did, but it happens everywhere. Good for you for standing your ground!!

Rough Neighborhood

The epitome rough area is mine...and I do mean rough. Gotta have a 4WD to get to the main road when it rains, and the smell from Briggstown Stables when the wind is just right...Whew!

My carry 1911's are all plain jane just the way browning inteneded and just the way I like 'em. My everyday carry 1911 is a colt NRM blued government model,its box stock and I love it. I'am going for a stainless steel version soon and a springfield parkarized milspec for my shooter/beater 1911.
