No, I don't bother. If I were to count rounds put through my 870, 100, 1000, 0r even 10,000 rounds would be meaningless and only a fraction of the number.

I don't have enough time in a year to fire all of my rifles let alone spend time counting rounds, I'm not that organized or anal anyway.
 
taliv, thanks for the log example.

It seems the majority keep a log in regards to ammo that is their reloads
(performance wise) or to check for feed reliability or magazine reliability.
Some mentioned keeping track of components replaced. Does anyone keep
track of rnds fired to use as a preventative maintenance schedule. Say
springs and bushings at X number of rnds, barrel at this many, full tare down,
clean, and magnifying glass exam at this many.
