1 Dillon 550 for pistols and ARs mainly, but I have the setups to load for everything I own with it
1 RCBS Partner for Long Range Rifle stuff
2 Lee Hand Presses for prepping brass while sitting around wherever BSing, Taking with me out on the truck, and occasionally loading development stuff at range.

Now For the intend to get list... well thats a long one..

MEC shotshell loader of some sort.
Rockchucker or/and COAX to replace the partner
Another 550 to set up for Large Primer
If I ever get stupid rich somehow, 650's and 1050's for everything... lol
Lee Classic turret just becasue everyone seems to like them so much, seems If i did too, it might be a good option to make range portable.

Lordy Deavis. Are those just because or do you load commercially? Or both?

Both. 6 1050s are on the back bench, back to back with space for P/W autodrives. 650s for prototyping on the 2nd bench with space for the next two 1050s and the BFR I plan to add this year. Mark X is on its own, the bench for it allows you to flip it over to get at the cam and gears. Brass equipment is in another room. 36" tall benches, two sheets of 3/4" plywood, cutouts for electrical wiring to pass through to strips mounted underneath, and topped with vinyl for easy cleanup. Shelf for brass buckets under the presses and bullets beneath that shelf on the floor. This is the 4th iteration of benches I've made and I've almost got it down pat.

The single stage Lee is hiding under there, look carefully and you can find it :)

For metallic cartridges, I have a Lee Classic Cast single stage that I process military brass with. A Hornady LnL AP progressive mostly for .357 reloading for Cowboy action shooting. I also have a Lee Classic Cast Turret set up for various calibers.

For shotguns, I have two MEC Jr's in 20 gauge and .410. I have a MEC 9000 in 12 gauge.

I didn't realize I had so much stuff until now.

I have the Hollywood Senior I bought used in 1963, another larger Hollywood Senior that I recently purchased for bullet swaging, an RCBS Rockchucker, a Hornady LNL, a Magma Case Master jr. and I just picked up an old Tri Standard Loadamatic that I haven't mounted yet. The Loadamatic is one of the first commercial grade machines from the 1950's, and built like a tank.

Hope this helps.

Fred

Oops! Forgot the shotgun presses. One Mec 9000gn and one Mec Grabber.

Its not nice to count...

Never know who's reading... Lot's of folks think one is too many and two makes you an arsenal. I'm not sure what this kind of thread adds to the conversation.

It tells us something about the level of experience on this forum.

I guess it gives you an idea of a persons experience with a certain piece of equipment, but if i need info on a starting point for an accurate rifle round I've found that there is no better advice than that from an old timer that has been using the same single stage press since the dinosaurs roamed. :D

Nobody is making any wild statements, nobody is making any threats of violence. Just people with like interests talking about said interests.

I don't see a problem, really. Anybody with a political ax to grind already has the ax and the grinder. A few harmless messages on a discussion board won't change minds either way.

Hornady LNLAP
RCBS RCIV
Lee alloy O frame (don't remember the name)
Lee Pro1000
MEC 600jr 12ga
MEC 9000G 20ga
Hornady 366 12ga

5 presses
Lee Breech Lock
Lee Breech Lock Hand Press
Hornady LnL AP
Hornady LnL SS
Dillon 550b

2 presses seem to do it for me all the rifles and 44 mag on lee breech-lock that takes care of the large powder hogs and a lee classic 4 hole turret for the pistols that dont take more than 15gr powder. didnt cost much and paid for itself in no time.

Guess I have a stupid question: Why two different progressives? I have a Hornady LNL, and change out dies for different pistol calibers. Do you guys have more than one so you can leave it set up the a certain caliber?

Yes. Lee Pro 1000 setup for 9mm using Bullseye powder, and a Lee Pro 1000 setup for .45acp using 200 grain SWC bullets and WST powder.

I keep my Lee Classic turret press for rifle and all other lesser used calibers. I also use a Lee quick mount on my bench to swap out presses since I don't have enough space to permanently mount all 3 presses. ;)

RCBS ROCK CHUCKER: for depriming, sizing, case forming.

LEE CAST CLASSIC: just came on line. May be exclusively for case
forming in the future.

LEE CHALLENGER: for bullet seating.

Because it may help someone decide what to do next and understand why someone would want more than one press. Several have posted why they have multiple presses and that might help a new guy make a better decision as to what to buy first. so take off the tin foil hat come out of the bomb shelter and relax a little.

I am extremely happy to report that I am now the proud owner of a new to me Hornady Projector press. Its my second press and my first progressive. My other press is a RCBS RC that works really well, but loading an ammo can full of 45 or 223 sure goes faster on the progressive.

I forgot I have a Mec 600Jr. I load 2 3/4 as well as 3"
