As mentioned in at least 2 other threads my M&P pistol developed an issue with the mag release. Today I will install the new mag release and it will go back to being my regular carry gun.
Tomorrow I will be taking it to the range to "test fire it" and confirm that the new mag release did what it was suppose to do.
The confidence issue I have is that the origianal issue did not show up until about 650 rounds in. So this mag release could fail at that same point and I would not know until I get there. I would love to go to the range and put 1000rounds through it in one day and see how it works. BUT the checking account does not allow for these things.
So, at what point after a gun repair does your confidence in the gun come back?
For the record most of the people who have posted with the same issue with the M&P's have had great luck with the replacement release.
