How much are you paying for 1000 small pistol primers (not magnum)?

I just paid about 55.00 for them at Bass Pro Shop. I would normally shop around but circumstances dictated that I buy them NOW. I seem to remember paying around 25.00 for them last year. I believe I just got screwed (with myself as a willing participant), but how badly?

Yep that is way too high. i believe a few months ago i was paying around 30.00 but 55.00 wow. you needed to shop around.

bass pro shop around here also charges outragous prices for primers, bought my last 1000 for $27 at gun show.

At the local gun show about 6 or 8 times per year, a case of 5000 primers is between $102 and $107 depending upon vendor. They were $97 per 5000 until July, then went up 5 bucks. Do the math, this is about 20 to 21 bucks per thousand.

Bass Pro is the most expensive I have seen. If I have to buy fast, I go to the local Cabells, 29.00/K. Otherwise I order by 5000 at Powder Valley.

I paid 27.00 for 1k at gunshow this weekend for Winchester Small Pistol. Magnum small pistol were also the same price.

I couldn't buy 1000 the last time I was at Cabelas. They were out. I bought their last 400. I think they are about 18 or 19 dollars per 1000. I'm worried they are going to go up in price because they are in short supply.

At my local funshop Winchesters are $26.50 per thousand, going to go up to $31.50/thousand end of the month.
