The one i saw in excellent condition with leather holster, two mags and rod was $ 300 store price. I wonder what they sell on average for with all the goodies at gunshows ? I have a Norinco 54 1 pistol but i may want one of this because they feel much better, besides i like the power of the tokarev cartridge. They are great as truck gun .

id probably bite on that. You can get romanian tokarevs for $210 but id definitly pay the extra for a Yugo model with holster and 2 mags. Spend about 100 and youll get a nice supply of ammo

I got one from J&G for $250. When you add shipping and FFL fee, it's a wash. Might as well go for the $300.

I haven't seen one at a gunshow around here, but Wideners has them for $200 with two magazines. For retail, $300 isn't too bad.

I read the safety they put in are just for importation regs. I thought they did a good job this time knowing the funky ones back with the Polish, Norinco and Romanians. The one i handled at the store had a nice click on the safety when engaged. So are they hit and miss?

I have two M57s. The first one was so nice for $200 that I wanted another at that price. Both are accurate. The first one's safety worked fine. The second one did not. The holes through the frame were not drilled straight, but one side was off by about a 1/32". This meant one side of the safety would block the trigger, usually once the gun was "hot" from a mag or two of shooting. When this happens, some people remove the safety; I did at first and the pistol returned to working fine. Others file the offending bit of safety; I did this next and now both pistols' safeties work.
