a. They will sell the hell out of it and then discontinue it when sales slow
b. Rossi will make a copy of it that's just as good.
2. Gunmakers are always looking to improve their product
a. by adding features that shooters are asking for.

3. Really good gun companies
a. build a superior product
b. sell to a new corporate owner every odd year.
4. "Tactical" rifles are produced
a. for combat
b. to relieve the company from looking for any decent walnut
5. Once a gun becomes REALLY popular
a. the company will gear up to produce more and more of them
b. Taurus will introduce a clone with at least ONE major neat item changed to a "chintzier" look.

b. they open a "Custom Shop" and you pay collector prices to get it where you used to.
