My wife pulled out a sealed foodsaver bag of 2 venison backstraps from the freezer. It was packaged 11/16/04. I cubed it for a stew in a crock pot tonight. Smelled gamey like usual...not at all bad.
My question...it that meat too old to consume after 2 years of a solid freeze??
I just want to get an idea so we don't get sick from eating it.
