Thanks, you probably just got the Bess put on Pelosi's ban list...... I still can't hit a half gallon milk jug at 50 yards with my Pedersoli version....

My Pedersoli was a kit so it allows you some personalization to how it is finished. I believe mine is pretty close to the originals as I looked at all I could find of the land pattern musket and I even obtained a bayonet to fit to the musket that is supposed to be identical to the original. I built a house and have remodeled several rental properties since I finished the Bess so I do not remember the particulars of the load. As I recall the main problem was with the lack of adequate sights, I used the tang screw on the rear but had to use Kentucky windage on the rest.
Do not want any military secrets revealed here and do not want some psycho building one of these at home, But what is the thing on the side of his rifle stock near his cheek???
"What's the difference between one man shooting the musket fifty times, and fifty men shooting a musket one times?" ...poor paraphrase of a line by Mel Gibson in The Patriot.
Yeah, I was a tad disappointed they missed that detail, but I think with the go-pro mounted on the musket, they were not intending on using that clip for what it was eventually used.
