A question for the website gurus on the forum: How do I block the "Recently Viewed" banner that persists on Midway's website? It is extremely irritating and intrusive. Even when I close it, it pops up again directly over the area I'm trying to view. Sure makes it tough to shop on their site. :banghead:

I'm using Firefox. I've installed Ad Block and NoScript, played with their configurations, but without success. I pulled up the Blockable Items window in Ad Block, but after blocking a number of the items, still had no success.

I'd appreciate some advice.

Instead of blocking can't you just click on the small "-" on the left side of the bar? On mine that reduces it to a small box on the lower left side that does not open again when I browse other items. To see it I have to press the "+".

I agree with au01st. It doesn't stay hidden very long. I hate that "improvement" to their site. Every time Midway "improves" their site they make it more difficult to use.

I dislike it so much I emailed them about it. I told them it was going to cost them business from me. Did I mention I really don't like it?

Good luck finding a cure, but it's off topic for THR.
